Peter Wellbrock

Sports Psychologist

Peter studied the Sports Science, Psychology and Educational Science.

Already during his active sports career in volleyball (1. Bundesliga, Junior National Team) he became aware, how important the interaction of mind and body is for both health and performance reasons. Thanks to his passion for sports and psychology he decided, to complete his studies with a MBA in Sports Psychology. Since 2016 he is working in the Youth Training Center of Hannover 96.

Peter is working in individual sports and team sports in both individual and group settings. The focus areas of his work are the challenges, needs and objectives of athletes and teams.

He already worked with coaches who participated successfully in national and international championships. He worked with athletes in modern pentathlon, athletics, swimming, basketball, bike racing, ice skating, dressage riding, soccer, etc.

Besides working with performance athletes he also gained experience with youth athletes, hobby athletes, parents, referees and business clients.
